Our Tone Woods

Your Timberidge guitar is made from only quality tone woods. Our wood is sourced from many locations around the globe. Our Engelmann, Sitka Spruce & Western Red Cedar are from Northern American regions such as Alaska and Canada. These tone woods go through a stringent grading procedure, are kiln dried then assigned to the appropriate ‘TR’ Series.

Structure in Balance with Tone

Timber needs to move and vibrate naturally. Correctly built and well-braced guitars allow the real tonal quality of the timber to be heard. Our bracing patterns are designed to let the wood do just that. Martinez use specially designed laminated neck blocks, which provide extra stability and minimises fret board movement over time. We fit only top quality composite nuts and saddles for durability, sustain and tone. Illustrated right top.

New Bridge Design

The new ‘TR’ Series bridge is designed for increased string brake angle over the saddle. That means optimum tone and sustain as well as plenty of adjustability over the lifetime of your instrument. This feature is now standard on all of our 6-String models. Smooth lines around the recessed rear of the bridge makes it blend in with total look of the instrument. Illustrated right bottom.

Choose your Pick Guard

Your ‘TR’ Series guitar comes with no fitted pickguard. That’s because we believe our guitars looks great with or without. Should you desire a pickguard simply choose one of three supplied. Shell, Black or Clear. You decide!

Please be thoughtful when disposing of the unwanted pick guards.
